Update community URL metadata

PUT
https://sgtr-integration.returning.ai/apis/information-communities
Community/Appearance

What this endpoint does#

This page documents PUT /community-meta (link-preview and guest/member-list flags). That route is not mounted on https://api.returning.ai.
PUT /community-meta and PUT /v1/community-meta both 404.
INFO
Related mounted appearance writes
PUT /v1/appearance and PUT /v1/community-bot are mounted. Name/URL PUT /v1/communities is not.

Quick start#

Do not call this PUT for integrations:
HTTP 404.

Authentication and permission#

A valid community key does not mount this path.

Complete examples#

There is no success example on this gateway.

Success and readback#

No success response. Configure preview metadata in community admin until this route is mounted.

Errors and recovery#

StatusWhenRecovery
404/community-meta or /v1/community-metaStop. Use admin settings.

Retry safety#

WARNING
Do not retry
Repeating this PUT will not mount the route.

Gotchas#

Empty-body 400 on /v1/appearance does not mean /v1/community-meta is mounted.

Next steps#

Update community theme colors
Use /v1/appearance for theme and branding when you have a disposable community.
